Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

The final ratings data is out for last week's first-run presentation of ENTERPRISE's "Stigma," the first episode of the February Sweeps ratings period. Although the show only matched the overnight rating for January's "Dawn," the final data show a significant improvement.

Scoring a 2.9/5, "Stigma" delivered a 14 percent increase on the "Dawn" rating figure (2.5/4), the series' first uptick since early December when "Precious Cargo" scored a 3.1/5 after "Vanishing Point" fizzled with a 2.5/4 the day before Thanksgiving. "Stigma" was watched by an estimated 4.4 million people compared to "Dawn"'s 3.99 million, a 10 percent increase. Good news abounds for "Stigma," as the adults 18-49 rating was 2.3/6, its highest level since "The Seventh" in November.

All things considered, however, "Stigma" still remains at the bottom of the season two pile as the third-least watched episode of the show's sophomore season, ahead of only "Point" and "Dawn." ENTERPRISE was also the second-highest rated show on UPN for the week, behind "WWE" with a 3.3. The WB was fifth for the week at 2.9/4 and 4.6 million viewers, while UPN was behind with 2.4/4 and 3.6 million viewers.

Thanks to Matthew Rojanakiathavorn and Cyrus for the tips. Check out more at the Los Angeles Times.

For what it's worth, the TV writer for the Florida Sun-Sentinel recently wrote that Enterprise would be cancelled soon and that this would represent the shortest run of any Star Trek show. I emailed him for more information, but he hasn't responded yet. Unfortunately, he is very well connected and has had several scoops like this in the past. If he's got a good source for this info...well, enjoy it while ya got it.

This seems like good news on the surface. I think the episode was deserving of increased viewer attention. But if I understand the post correctly, it looks like this uptick wasn't substantial. UPN is depending on Enterprise to keep it competitive with WB. Enterprise seems to be slipping in that regard. Given Buffy's apparent cancellation, I hope that Enterprise doesn't follow the same fate.
