Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

Broadway.com reports that STAR TREK actor Brent Spiner ('Data') will take over the role of 'Hubert' in the upcoming Broadway play LIFE X 3 from previously-cast actor David Lansbury, who left the production after a week of rehearsals. The play co-stars Helen Hunt (AS GOOD AS IT GETS) and John Turturro as a couple whose dinner guests arrive a day early and scathing high society humor ensues.

The play is written by Yasmina Reza and the site provides this summary of the story: "LIFE X 3 centers on a married couple, Henri and Sonia, who are relaxing at home when suddenly Henri's boss and his wife turn up at the door. They've arrived a day early for a dinner party, leaving Henri and Sonia struggling to throw together a seamless evening for their unexpected guests. The twist of Life x 3 is that Reza shows three separate scenarios for the evening, with the characters acting differently in each one."

Spiner is no stranger to the stage, having finished a production of 1776 before filming STAR TREK NEMESIS. His other stage credits include Broadway plays BIG RIVER, THE THREE MUSKETEERS, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE and A HISTORY OF AMERICAN FILMS, and he's had off-Broadway roles in THE SEAGULL, LEAVE IT TO BEAVER IS DEAD, NEW JERUSALEM and TABLE SETTINGS. The actor also recently guest starred on the NBC sitcom FRASIER.

LIFE X 3 begins at the Circle in the Square Theatre on March 11 under the direction of Matthew Warchus. Read more at Broadway.com.

Spiner is a good actor who hasn't had a lot of opportunities outside of Trek (certainly not in comparison to Stewart). I hope that Spiner does well and that the play does well too. Maybe this will lead to more non-Trek opportunities for him.
