Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

Last night's first-run presentation of ENTERPRISE's mythology episode "Future Tense" scored the prequel series' best overnight ratings since December. With a 4.5/7 according to Zap2it, "Tense" matches the December 11th presentation of "Precious Cargo," a show that eventually went on to earn a final rating of 3.1/5 and be watched by 4.67 million viewers.

"Tense" is the highest-rated new episode of 2003 thusfar, with both February Sweeps episodes "Stigma" and "Cease Fire" only marginally improving. While "Stigma"'s overnight rating matched that of January's "Dawn" (story) with a 4.2/6, the first Sweeps episode of 2003 ended up with a significantly larger audience by the time the final numbers came out: 4.4 vs. 3.99. With a three-tenths of a point uptick in the overnight for "Future Tense," it is likely that ENTERPRISE will have seen its largest audience since November Sweeps once the final data are released.

"Tense" still ranks below the first half of the season in overnight figures, with episodes like "Carbon Creek" earning a 4.9 and "Dead Stop" and "A Night in Sickbay" even higher. But the increase has been long overdue for ENTERPRISE and coincides with what many fans have considered to be two of the season's best episodes: "Cease Fire" and "Future Tense."

Overall UPN took fifth place for the eight o'clock hour, beating rival WB in the slot and in the nighly average, 3.9/7 to 3.2/5. For the complete overnight ratings round-up, visit this page.

UPDATE 18:46: Yesterday we reported that "Cease Fire" earned the same final rating number as "Stigma," a 2.9. Audience figures out today reveal a significant increase in the amount of viewers for "Fire," despite the similar rating. "Stigma" was watched by 4.4 million people while "Fire" reached 4.78 million. Expect similar increases when the audience numbers are available for yesterday's "Future Tense."

the Tholians had something to do with the sudden rise in viewership, as is often the case when TOS-related favorites make appearances. I think that should give Berman a clue.

Nevertheless, between "Future Tense" and "Cease Fire" I am once again holding out hope for this series. Hopefully, they won't screw things up too badly with the upcoming Borg nonsense, as well as this "new direction" that Berman is talking about.

According to SciFiWire "Future Tense" had an audience of 4.6 million, though it incorrectly states that ENT airs after TZ.

I had all but given up earlier in the season and stopped watching but I tuned back in last week with 'Cease Fire' and I was very impressed, enough to watch last nights episode and I am glad I did. The past two episodes have been really really good. Good enough that I will tune in again. I am one fan that has returned and hopefully that I am not alone in that.

Looks like "Cease Fire" brought some viewers back this week. Eager to see the final audience figures next week...
