Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

ENTERPRISE will offer up a look into the origins of the warp five program in its fiftieth episode, "First Flight." The episode will depict the events surrounding the first test of the engine, which fails, destroying the ship, and prompting the Vulcans to urge Starfleet to reconsider the design, which they think is unstable.

Archer and a young Trip Tucker, who is working on the project, are determined to give it another try, however, and launch the NX-Beta without Starfleet's approval. The episode will include an homage to the Original Series art director Matt Jefferies, in naming the captain of the engineering team working on the project after him.

The fiftieth episode will go before cameras on March 10th under the direction of LeVar Burton, who also helmed the one-hundredth episode of STAR TREK: VOYAGER, "Timeless." Keep in mind that this plot information is based on incomplete and early fragments from the episode's script, and is likely to undergo significant revisions before the episode airs in May. The story is © 2003 Paramount Pictures.

We need more episodes like this. :-)

Prequel stories, baby!

How many years before 2151? Are Archer and Tucker too much younger? (Meaning needing to cast new actors)

Doesn't this episode make this the final installment? As in, this is the Season 2 finale?

I really wonder why nobody has brought up yet another "Columbia" point saying that to show a spaceship get destroyed during a launch is too much like what happened on 2/1/2003.

Not that I am here to argue that, I think this is a good episode and it will give us some insight on who, what and when things were happening and how they happened. Good place for ENT and Trek to further it's history of the past we know little about.

On a side note: Why is StarTrek.com still showing The Crossing for March 19 if it's suppose to be bumped to April 2?

See ya.

I wonder if NX-Beta (or NX-Alpha, for that matter) are the mystery ship seen in the credits after the Phoenix and before Enterprise.

Finally we get an episode like this. I might actually tune in that week!

I wonder when they'll start forming the Federation, THAT will be interesting.

Nemesis had all the right buttons there waiting to be pressed, but like Data on a Reman keypad Paramount seem to have pushed the wrong ones. :/

This sounds like a great episode. This type of story is what we have been waiting for all along. Finally, B&B are delivering on the promise of Enterprise by sticking to the premise of the series.

with other posters, this sounds like a great episode. although, i thought it was henry archer who was involved in the early testing of the warp five engine, not j. archer and tucker.

Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey! Xander (Buffy vs. Dracula)

I'd say this sounds like a good story, but some of the prolific ENT supporters out there have me convinced that pre-judging an episode is a bad idea, so I really can't support this story one way or another.

Oh well. I've learned my lesson. :(
