Typhon Station is a very fastpaced PBeM RPG with skilled, experienced players and a warm sense of bonding and community. We play at the turn-of-the-century, 2400, and are located in the Typhon Expanses, bordering the Neutral Zone, proximate to the Romulan Empire, and near the Iconian Digs, and are on the first warning route of the original Borg Incursion.
We have three stations to post from, SB 185, USS Odyssey, and USS Wraith. They all have general and particular storylines and all interact. This game is not for the faint of heart! The writing is superb and comes hot and heavy. We have some open spots and also we will consider character suggestions. So, longtime RPGers and novices, check us out. See if you want to make Typhon Station your home away from home.

The New York Daily News reports today on a lawsuit filed by several Fox-owned affiliate stations against UPN. Although the specific grievances were not outlined in a one-page summons filed Friday, sources speaking to the paper say the Fox stations could be upset over UPN's sharp audience decline of late: the network lost 20% of its 18-34 demographic in this most recent February Sweeps period. However, the $108 million lawsuit may hinge on back fees.

One unnamed source told the paper, "The Fox stations are pissed off. They could do better as independents."

But others disagree, suggesting that the move could be a negotiating tactic to force the ENTERPRISE network to invest heavily in programming for next season as a last ditch effort to recover.

Meanwhile, the Hollywood Reporter quotes a UPN spokesperson saying, "This is nothing more than a contract dispute that we hope to resolve privately and amicably. But if we have to go to court, we will clearly prevail."

keep their monday programming, put buffy and enterprise on the same night, and cancel all other programming and be reclassified as a limited network.

Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey! Xander (Buffy vs. Dracula)
