Activision's STAR TREK: ELITE FORCE II will be headed to stores this summer and the official STAR TREK web site has posted the first look at the game's box cover art, which features Hazard Team members 'Alex Munro', 'Telisa' and 'Chell' in one of the game's twelve all-new environments. You can reach the image here.

Additionally, game developers Juan Martinez and Brian Jones have posted at the Ritualistic forums about ELITE FORCE II's lip-synching technology and character models. You can reach those remarks here and here.

You can pre-order the game from Amazon.com to support TrekWeb.

In other TREK gaming news, the designer of the CUSTOMIZEABLE CARD GAME ENERGIZER expansion has spoken about the next chapter in the game at the Decipher web site.

Why do I get the feeling this is going to be worse than EF1? Could it be because Ritual, not Raven, is the developer? That was a major disappointment.

I look forward to EF2. EF wasn't perfect, but it was good fun. I particular liked the levels set on board an alternate universe TOS ship.

If they can take the good stuff from the first one, and perfect it, it should be fantastic.

But the multiplayer stuff was the strong point anyway, of the first one.

I believe the character's name from the first game is actually "Telsia" not "Telisa", but it's also spelled that way on startrek.com.

Nice art, by the way... a bit different from the typical gamebox. I want this game NOW!!
