Veteran stage and television actor
Jordan Lund has the honor of tackling the first major Tellarite character in STAR TREK since the original series episode "Journey to Babel" in the upcoming ENTERPRISE episode "Bounty." In the episode, Lund plays 'Skalaar', a bounty hunter enlisted by the Klingons to capture rogue 'Captain Jonathan Archer' (
Scott Bakula) (
story).
TrekWeb asked Jordan whether he'd like to take your questions about the Tellarites and "Bounty" for an interview to be published here soon. His response? "Bring it on!" Accordingly, we're happy to provide this opportunity for TrekWeb readers to interact with Jordan.
Lund was trained in acting at Carnegie-Mellon University's famed professional actor training program and soon after graduation appeared opposite STAR TREK: INSURRECTION guest star F. Murray Abraham in productions of Shakespeare's THE GOLEM and TWELFTH NIGHT. His film roles include JACKNIFE, FLETCH LIVES, SPEED, THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT and CRAZY IN ALABAMA. He will appear in LOOSLEY BASED ON A TRUE LOVE STORY, his fourth film for director Rob Reiner, later this year.
On television you've seen Lund as the Klingon 'Kluge' in STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION's "Redemption, II" and as 'Woban' in STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE's first season episode "The Storyteller." He's made two appearances on the long-running NBC drama LAW & ORDER, as well as roles on WALKER, TEXAS RANGER, CHEERS, MURPHY BROWN, NYPD BLUE, ER, PHILLY, THE PRACTICE and FIREFLY. He even lent his talents as a regular character on the short-lived UPN sci-fi medical series MERCY POINT in 1998 and also made guest spots on the TREK network's series SEVEN DAYS.
