Auctioneer Profiles in History will conduct a science fiction auction on April 26th, with items from LOST IN SPACE, THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL and STAR TREK up for the highest bidder. The event will take place simultaneously at the Westin Hotel at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 12 Noon and on the Internet via eBay Live Auctions.

Among the STAR TREK items will be many original piece of art and concept props from the personal collection of long-time TREK illustrator Rick Sternbach, according to a Profiles press release. In addition, items from the original series, THE NEXT GENERATION and the feature films will be up for bid, such as Leonard Nimoy's 'Spock' tunic, worn on the original series. Profiles bills the item as "the most original and complete SPOCK Tunic in the world."

Perhaps the crown jewel of the event for TREK collectors will be the original U.S.S. Enterprise helm bridge console used for the original series. This set piece was used for all three seasons of the original STAR TREK series, 1966-1969, and recently spent time on display at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C.

You can reach the full press release, which details the other non-TREK items up for auction here, and you can register to bid online at eBay Live Auctions.
