The Psi Phi website just posted the cover image and plot information for the upcoming ENTERPRISE novel titled DAEDALUS, written by David Stern. The books, which tells the tragic fate of the first Warp 5 starship, will be released as a mass market paperback in October, 2003.

Judging by how much treknology back-story that this novel will reveal, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing gets contradicted by "First Flight."

Nemesis had all the right buttons there waiting to be pressed, but like Data on a Reman keypad Paramount seem to have pushed the wrong ones. :/

Just read the plot synopsis, and that sounds like it could be good. I might pick it up. The cover art is excellent, as well.

Although, I thought it sounded a lot like the upcoming episode "First Flight".
