Ah, nothing like a weekend at the beach to rejuvenate the soul and darken the skin! After a three day respite I'm back in action, and just in time for the big Borg episode this week, woohoo! Thanks to Gustavo Leao, Antony F, Matt Klamm and Jason Boxman for holding down the fort while I was away.

Read another hundred pages in FOUNTAINS OF PARADISE while away, really getting into the book. It's amazing how much fun reading can actually be when it's simply for your own enlightenment and pleasure. Still haven't watched the "Cogenitor" tape from last week, might have time to tackle it sometime soon. No time for Van Halen Song of The Day so enjoy these newsbits...

Today's Tribblets:

  • Avery Brooks ('Sisko') was recently featured in a print ad for Discover Jersey Arts in the Newark Star-Ledger.

  • A tornado recently struck the town of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. No Klingons or Suliban in sight.

  • Jordan Lund ('Skalaar' in "Bounty") has done another online Q&A session, this time over at The Trek Nation.

  • Ex-TREK writer René Echevarria has offered his thoughts on THE MATRIX in an article at New York Daily News.

  • The official site has posted screen captures and a video preview of the selection nemus for the upcoming NEMESIS DVD here.

  • According to BBC News, William Shatner's version of a Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds has been voted the worst Beatles cover of all time.
