Well tonight's the night. The big "Borg-o-rama" on ENTERPRISE. Let's hope it's a step forward and not two steps back. I hear the score is really good. Speaking of which, check out the Mark McKenzie clip below. No wonder I liked "Horizon" so much. I'm not afraid to say his music made me a bit teary during the scene with Mayweather talking about his father's death (awww).

Uh, anyway... I know you're all jonesin' for a Van Halen Song of the Day and I promise when I have some more time I'll pick some lyrics and throw one up. For now, all I can offer are these bits...

Today's Tribblets:

  • Composer Mark McKenzie has put a suite of his heartfelt "Horizon" score online at his official web site. Thanks to Jeron Moore for putting the package together and Matt Klamm for the link!

  • William Shatner will appear on TechTV's THE SCREEN SAVERS program Friday May 9th @ 8a ET.

  • UNH professor Douglas Lanier has tied STAR TREK to Shakespeare in his new book SHAKESPEARE AND MODERN POPULAR CULTURE.

  • The official site for Jeri Ryan's DOWN WITH LOVE has opened. Thanks to TrekToday for this one.

  • The R2 Project takes a look at future STAR TREK DVDs in a new feature.

  • The Star Trek Communicator is once again taking fan questions for its next Rick Berman Update feature.
