I hope everyone is enjoying the new TrekWeb Search (on the left-hand side of your screen, in case you're wondering). It's Friday, so that means we can take a breather or two and what better way to go out than with some Van Halen tunage?

Name That Van Halen Song of the Day: No one heard my two attempts at Eddie riffs last week, perhaps because no one has the Quicktime plugin? Who knows. Back to basics today: name the song and complete the lyric!

"Travels light, with-out a pack, with-out love..."

Have a great weekend!

Today's Tribblets:

  • John Masius, producer of Bryan Fuller (writer, ST:VOY)'s Showtime series DEAD LIKE ME, talks about the show with USA Today.

  • Speaking Klingon is part of a gag in the new Eddie Murphy movie DADDY DAY CARE, opening today.

  • Psi Phi has posted an excerpt from the VOYAGER: HOMECOMING novel as well as descriptions of the next to STARGAZER novels, THREE and OBLIVION.

  • VOA News features the Tillman Water Reclamation Plant in Los Angeles, which has served as Starfleet Academy, as a model water recycling facility for the state of California.

  • ST:DS9 will return to Australian television Tuesday, May 13th with the season seven premiere "Shadows and Symbols" on the Nine Network.

  • Inon Zur, composer for many TREK computer games including STARFLEET COMMAND II, will be featured in an upcoming issue of Computer Music magazine. Thanks to TrekToday for this one!

Somewhere lost it in a turn trouble seems to fit him like a glove.
First come first served he's serving it back travels light without a pack without love.

Crappy (mostly) covers album, but this, Little Guitars and Secrets were great songs! Cathedral is also right up there with Eruption!

Don't ever bother with reading extracts or really bother buying ST books, but Homecoming sounds great, and its everything the finale should have been *mumble under breath*.

Nemesis had all the right buttons there waiting to be pressed, but like Data on a Reman keypad Paramount seem to have pushed the wrong ones. :/
