ENTERPRISE actress
Jolene Blalock revealed during an appearance on the LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG KILBORN last week that the third season of the STAR TREK prequel will go into production, "bigger and better," in just over a month, on June 26th.
Last year's production began a week early with the second episode of the year, "Carbon Creek." The early schedule allowed Blalock and the episode's guest cast to shoot much of the story's location portions before the rest of the cast returned to work. No details yet exist about the season three premiere, other than the fact that it will carry on the story begun in "The Expanse" on May 21st and is likely to introduce several new, non-Starfleet, recurring characters as "commandos" to beef up security on the NX-01.
The newly-revamped ENTERPRISE isn't the only thing lighting up the actress's life these days. Blalock told Kilborn that since marrying beau Michael Rapino recently (story), "the sex is better, everything is better!" She also displayed a clip of this week's episode "Bounty," which features her character under extreme emotional and sexual distress.
