British magazine SFX has finished its year of ENTERPRISE spoiler reports just in time, with the full synopsis of next Wednesday's season finale, "The Expanse." In addition to already known information about the Xindi probe's attack on Earth, the new synopsis reveals that the Temporal Cold War is about to heat up significantly.

"Heading home at high warp in response to the attack, Archer is momentarily snatched away by the Suliban," the magazine reports according to The Great Link. "Silik brings Archer before Future Guy, who tells the Captain that the attack was perpetrated by the Xindi – a race that humans will destroy in 400 years. But someone is aiding the Xindi, according to Future Guy - who warns Archer that the Temporal Cold War is heating up. Future Guy provides Archer with coordinates that will lead the Captain to the location of the Xindi."

The magazine reveals that we'll learn of the constrction of the NX-02 and T'Pol will be forced to resign her commission with the Vulcan High Command because the Vulcans refuse to enter the region of space where the Enterprise must tread to find the Xindi. As the NX-01 sails into the dangerous Delphic Expanse, the Klingon 'Duras' pursues but his ship is destroyed by the Enterprise as it enters the mysterious region, which cues the cliffhanger.

This latest information suggests that a sideplot involving Archer's love interest 'Rebecca' may have been cut from the final episode. In the original story, according to early reports, Archer had dinner with Rebecca in San Francisco before heading off on this dangerous new mission.

UPN 9 in New York ran a short segment on the season finale this week, according to the Starfleet Library web site. The segment included brief remarks from Scott Bakula about the new direction for season three:

"The idea of this peaceful exploration that we took off with is changed forever," he said.

The actor also told LATE LATE SHOW host Craig Kilborn Thursday night that he thinks the new angle will energize the series' third season.

....it's make or break time for Enterprise.

Or as the Klingons would say - DO or DIE time. ;-)
