  • Town Online takes a critical look at the current state of the STAR TREK franchise in a new column.

  • A warp speed calculator has been set up by Stephen Schmitt where you can enter a warp factor to see the speed of light equivalent as well as travel time to nearby stars.

  • Nottigham University in the UK which was awarded funding to experiment with new forms of Cancer treatment have come up with 'nano-particles' BBC News reports.
