Perhaps I should briefly explain why there have been no columns and no Van Halen Songs of the Day in the last few Today's Tribblets round-ups. Put simply, it's a busy summer. I'm working quite a bit more and while editors
Gustavo Leao and
Bill Williams are helping out with news coverage, there just hasn't been enough time to write a column every day or even choose a VHSotD.
Rest assured, however, that the tribble-sized TREK stories will continue to flow, even without opening commentary or your daily dose of metal mania. In addition to a million other projects, we're working on a brand new bulletin board system that should make using the STAR TREK BBS easier and more user-friendly.
Combining TrekWeb's signature style with brand new features long lacking, the new system is currently open to beta testing and will continue to be one of the most unique bulletin boards on the Internet (no Ultimate BBS here). If you decide to take a peek, click the "settings" button once there to tweak some of the new features before browsing. Post any bug reports or comments on the Ready Room forum.
Stay tuned! In the meantime, enjoy...
