absolutely loved this movie! i mean after wrath of kahn this is my 2nd fav. yesh i'm aware of all the 'plot' holes but i think the character moments within the movie washed it away. as for the bad fx i think it is rather cute considering it is a 'throwback' to the TOS. the way the film is now is good 'nuff. it kept it mysterious. the camp fire scenes, the sulu+checkhov, uhura+scotty, it was all too good. absolutely loved it. i just wished instead of trying to 'find God' that they have other types of conflicts.

I'll be buying this one. It looks to have some good features on it. I hope theyr'e better than the "Search for Spock" DVD.

I wonder what this will be? Hopefully not something junky like on the Star Trek III CE DVD but rather something interesting.

Nemesis had all the right buttons there waiting to be pressed, but like Data on a Reman keypad Paramount seem to have pushed the wrong ones. :/

I'm trying really hard to figure out why there is a featurette called "The Green Future?" on this DVD. Nothing against that particular featurette, but like the Matt Jeffries featurette for Generations - why is it on THIS disc? It seems like it would have fit better on ST IV...

who knows...I certainly don't

While this is not the Director's Edition I and James and others out there are still hoping for, at least this is much better than what has been feared. The inclusion of deleted scenes and the "rock man" footage are certainly welcome additions to this DVD. Sounds like Paramount is giving some real meat here. Let's hope that they'll take it one step further down the road and do a Director's Edition.
