  • Avery Brooks ('Sisko') will play 'Oedipus' in a new performance of the Greek classic to commemorate the 2nd Anniversary of 9/11 this Wed and Thur at the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C.

  • The original STAR TREK series premiered on NBC on this day in 1966, 37 years ago. Happy Birthday to the franchise!

  • John Fleck ('Silik') returns to the New York stage Oct. 2-19 at the La MaMa Theatre with the new play NOTHIN' BEATS PUSSY.

  • UGC Cinemas West India Quay at Canary Wharf, London will kick off its The Best Blockbusters from the 1980's with a special screening of ST2: TWOK Sept. 15 @ 6p.

  • A motor bike made to resemble the Starship Enterprise is currently on display at the Tokyo Tepco Electric Energy Museum before going up for auction on September 29th.

  • Malcolm McDowell will appear in STROKE OF GENIUS, a film about golfer Bobby Jones starring actor Jim Caviezal.

  • Anthony Montgomery ('Mayweather') will guest on NBC's BOOMTOWN October 10th, and UPN's HALF AND HALF later this season.
