STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE actor
Rene Auberjoinois morphed his way into the hearts of millions as the changeling 'Odo' for seven seasons and now will make his latest stage turn early next year.
Auberjonois will be part of an all-star cast bringing a new production of the Larry Gelbart comedy SLY FOX to the Broadway Stage next spring. The open will run at the Barymore Theatre on April Fool's Day, according to
Playbill News. Previews will begin in March under the direction of
Arthus Penn.
The veteran stage and character actor will join
Elizabeth Berkely,
Bronson Pinchot and
Irwin Corey in the play headlined by famed actor
Richard Dreyfuss.
SLY FOX was originally produced in 1976 and tells the tale of greed and deception as written in VOLPONE by Ben Jonson. Auberjonois's most recent performance was in the short-lived play DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES.
